Clips From The 2007 Haunted Hike

I know that a lot of people who have never been to one of the Haunted Hikes may be wondering what it's really all about.

I can write about it, I can post still photo's from it, but the best way would be to let you actually see a video from a past hike. So that's what this post is all about.

The following video includes bits and pieces from the 2007 Haunted Hike. Enough to give you a sense of what to expect without giving too much away. Remember, the actual hike covers a half mile and takes 45 minutes or more to complete.

Sorry about the amateurish video editing:

The important thing to take away from all this is the quote from the young lady at the end of the video:

"Beats Knott's, beats Universal."

I thought it was a great idea to use regular music from bands in the haunted house part of it instead of the usual "spooky" halloween music. The halloween music doesn't intrigue me much. So that was an awesome idea. Would you by any chance know what the music was exactly?

Anonymous: Excellent question that I don't have an answer for. Each section has different people in charge of it and I wasn't part of putting the haunted house section together. I did go through it one night but I don't remember what music was playing. Let me check around and see if I can find out. I'll report back here with what I find or don't find out.

Thanks for the feedback. It's the best way for us to know what "works" and what doesn't. We adapt the following year based on what people tell us they liked or didn't like. Very helpful.

Sorry it took so long to get back with an answer. I asked some people who worked the event last year and here's the consensus: The music was most likely Welcome To The Jungle by Guns N' Roses. Nobody was 100% sure but that was the answer that came up most often.
